Boschendal The Favourites Lanoy has an elegant, dark ruby ??red. The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon und Merlot offers a remarkable variety of flavors. Notes of mulberry, black currant, ripe plum and spices await the connoisseurs. Boschendal Wines

Das Weingut Boschendal ist eine der ältesten Weinfarmen der Neuen Welt und liegt mit seinen 3500 ha am Eingang zum Franchhoek-Tal zwischen Simonsberg und den Groot Drakenstein Bergen.

1685 wurde es dem Hugenotten Jeyn Lo Log gegründet. 1715 ging es in den Besitz der ebenfalls hugenottischen Brüder Pierre, Abrahm und Jaques de Villier über, die Boschendal zu Größe und Respekt verhalfen. Aus dieser Zeit stammt auch der Weinkeller von Boschendal, der heute aber natürlich mit modernster Technik ausgestattet ist.

This South African red wine blend of Pinotage, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot combines juicy fruit with subtle spice and a harmonious structure.After fermentation in open concrete tanks, the wine ages for twelve months in used French oak barrels. The bouquet is characterized by aromas of black currants, raspberries, cherries, and dark plums, accompanied by spicy notes of cinnamon, allspice, and a hint of chocolate.
