Fasoli Gino

Scheiblhofer Praittenbrunn
Aged for 32 months in new French oak barrels: The Scheiblhofer Praittenbrunn is a monumental red wine from Austria that connoisseurs won’t soon forget. In his review in Falstaff magazine, Peter Moser awards it a top score of 96 out of 100 points. The Bordeaux blend is a creation made from 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. This red wine from Burgenland combines notes of blackcurrants and blackberries in its intense bouquet. These are complemented by wonderfully harmonious hints of chocolate, nougat, and tobacco, as well as dried rose petals and subtle notes of eucalyptus. On the palate, the deep purple blend is powerful, with pronounced, tightly knit tannins and a fine acidity. Despite this power, it exhibits remarkable softness and harmony. The finish is impressively concentrated, with great aromatic depth (cherry, tarragon). The Scheiblhofer Praittenbrunn is the fascinating result of the collaboration between Erich Scheiblhofer, Austria’s Winemaker of the Year 2021 (Falstaff Magazine), and Florian Gayer, who took their cue from the Super Tuscans for the Praittenbrunn and have succeeded in playing in the same league as the legendary wines from Tuscany. This red wine from Burgenland will benefit from bottle aging and remain a phenomenal delight until the mid-2030s. Zenato Riserva Amarone della Valpolicella Classico
Magistral smell and taste sensation!Amarone has an impressive elegance in the center and an inviting bouquet of ripe fruit. Deep ruby red with hints of fine herbs. On the palate, the powerful, warm and rich flavorinfluences, including wild cherries and chocolate, very impressive.Excellent for a lifetime ...The absolute 'king' of this region, made from only the best grapes of exceptionally good harvests. Hand picked and selected and the grapes are let to dry out for several months with the result that much of the moisture in the grapes evaporates allowing the grapes to be very rich in sugars. The best and ripest Corvina grapes supplemented with a little Rondinella and Sangiovese. After fermentation the wine is matured in Slavonian oak casks for four years and then another 12 months in bottle.
