The bouquet of Planeta Plumbago Nero d'Avola Sicilia combines notes of ripe plums, blackberries, jasmine and black truffle. The pure Nero d'Avola from Sicily is exceptionally multi-faceted on the palate. Velvety, sweet and seductive on the one hand, with bitter tones reminiscent of chocolate from Modica (a Sicilian specialty) on the other.

this red wine matured for 10 months in third and fourth fill French barrels. It is an ideal accompaniment to grilled meat. Plumbago is the name of a purple wild flower that blooms around the vineyards where this wine is grown.
