Feudo Arancio Syrah Sicilia DOC

The bouquet of the Feudo Arancio Syrah (Shiraz) from Sicily is fascinatingly multifaceted. Notes of wild berries, blueberries, raspberries and plums characterize the bouquet. They harmonize wonderfully with a pleasant spiciness of black pepper, cloves and thyme.

On the palate, this Sicilian red wine is dry, smooth and full-bodied. The velvety tannins are wonderfully integrated. The finish offers nuances of roasted aromas, a fine result of the ten-month maturation of the Feudo Arancio Syrah in French oak barriques.

The grapes for this literally award-winning red wine (including gold at the Berlin Wine Trophy for the 2018 vintage and Mundus Vini gold for the 2015 vintage) come from the provinces of Agrigento in the south-west of the largest island in the Mediterranean and Ragusa on the southern tip of Sicily.

Enjoy this single-varietal Italian Syrah at a drinking temperature of 16 to 18 degrees. The ruby red wine is an ideal accompaniment to hearty cold cuts, smoked cheese or pesce spada alla siciliana - Sicilian-style swordfish - as well as grilled tuna steak.

Feudo Arancio
