Feudi di San Gregorio Falanghina Sannio DOC

The Feudi di San Gregorio Falanghina del Sannio DOC is an elegant white wine from Campania in southern Italy that beautifully expresses the characteristic freshness of the indigenous Falanghina grape variety. Only selected Falanghina grapes from particularly well-suited vineyards are used to produce this expressive Italian white wine. With its lively fruit, floral aromas, and balanced structure, it embodies the modern style of Campania’s white wines.

The grapes are gently processed and fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures of 16 to 18 °C. The wine then ages for about five to six months on its fine lees in stainless steel tanks. Through repeated stirring of the lees (bâtonnage), it gains additional body and a harmonious texture, while its natural freshness and varietal aromas are preserved.

In the glass, this white wine presents a pale straw-yellow color with bright greenish highlights. On the nose, it unfolds an intense, lingering bouquet of small white flowers and fruity notes. On the palate, this Falanghina is fresh and balanced, yet pleasantly soft and harmonious. Its clean, aromatic finish underscores the elegant and lively character of this white wine from Campania.

As a versatile companion to Mediterranean cuisine, the Falanghina del Sannio DOC pairs excellently with seafood, shrimp salad, stuffed mussels, and pasta with shellfish. It is also an excellent choice as an aperitif or with light fish dishes. It best expresses its freshness when served at a temperature of about 10–12 °C.
