Feudi di San Gregorio Falanghina Sannio DOC

The Feudi di San Gregorio Falanghina del Sannio DOC is an elegant white wine from Campania in southern Italy that beautifully expresses the characteristic freshness of the indigenous Falanghina grape variety. Only selected Falanghina grapes from particularly well-suited vineyards are used to produce this expressive Italian white wine. With its lively fruit, floral aromas, and balanced structure, it embodies the modern style of Campania’s white wines. The grapes are gently processed and fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures of 16 to 18 °C. Through repeated stirring of the lees (bâtonnage), it gains additional body and a harmonious texture, while its natural freshness and varietal aromas are preserved. In the glass, this white wine presents a pale straw-yellow color with bright greenish highlights. On the nose, it unfolds an intense, lingering bouquet of small white flowers and fruity notes. On the palate, this Falanghina is fresh and balanced, yet pleasantly soft and harmonious. Its clean, aromatic finish underscores the elegant and lively character of this white wine from Campania. As a versatile companion to Mediterranean cuisine, the Falanghina del Sannio DOC pairs excellently with seafood, shrimp salad, stuffed mussels, and pasta with shellfish. It is also an excellent choice as an aperitif or with light fish dishes. It best expresses its freshness when served at a temperature of about 10–12 °C.

Feudi di San Gregorio Primitivo Puglia IGT

The Feudi di San Gregorio Primitivo Puglia IGT comes from Apulia in the sunny south of Italy. The Primitivo grape variety finds ideal conditions here: in the vineyards surrounding the provinces of Taranto and Brindisi, the vines grow in the region’s characteristic red, mineral-rich soils. The result is a harmonious red wine that authentically expresses the fruit-forward and pleasantly smooth character of Primitivo. To preserve the fruit and the variety’s characteristic aromas, fermentation and maceration take place in stainless steel tanks. The wine then ages for six to seven months in stainless steel before spending at least another six months aging in the bottle. Aging in wooden barrels is deliberately avoided. In the glass, the Primitivo reveals clear aromas of ripe cherries and strawberries, accompanied by subtle sweet spice notes. On the palate, it is soft and well-balanced, with mineral nuances and elegant, well-integrated tannins. The fruit-forward finish is pleasantly warm, with a hint of cinnamon. This approachable Primitivo from Apulia pairs excellently with grilled meats, juicy roasts, and hearty Mediterranean dishes. It also makes a perfect accompaniment to spicy pasta and aged cheeses. The ideal serving temperature is around 16–18 °C.
