Der Knipser Blauer Spätburgunder trocken duftet wunderbar facettenreich nach Himbeeren und Kirschen sowie Nuancen von Zigarrenkiste und Espressopulver. Am Gaumen ist der über 12 Monate im gebrauchten Barrique ausgebaute Rotwein aus der Pfalz fein und zugleich kräftig, mit einer guten Struktur. Der Spätburgunder wurde aus Trauben verschiedener Weinberge rund um Laumersheim komponiert.

The Hensel Aufwind Pinot Gris comes from the renowned Palatinate region and is produced by the traditional Thomas Hensel winery in Bad Dürkheim. Thomas Hensel is one of 20 winegrowers from Bad Dürkheim. His 17-hectare vineyard is located right next to the local "airport" - or rather sports airfield. Thomas is ambitious, energetic and courageous enough to be innovative.The Hensel Aufwind Pinot Gris is a fruity, fresh Burgundy cuvée with aromas of ripe honeydew melon, yellow banana, Piedmont hazelnuts and bourbon vanilla. The subtle use of barriques adds complexity and spice to this wine without losing any of its freshness and independent character. On the palate, this dry white wine is smooth with plenty of power, spice and creaminess.A wonderful solo wine from the Palatinate. It is also an excellent accompaniment to various meat and fish dishes, pasta and hearty stews.

I Muri Bianco Puglia IGP

This straw-yellow, Apulian white wine with golden glints shows a wonderfully intense bouquet of ripe yellow fruit, lime, papaya and honeydew melon. This blend consisting of Malvasia Bianca, Chardonnay und Verdeco is fruity, fresh, spicy and well-balanced on the palate. The fruity intensity predominates in the finish of this Italian white wine. The Vigneti del Salento ‘I Muri’ Puglia Bianco comes from vines with an average age of 15 to 30 years and was aged in stainless steel tanks, allowing this wine to develop its fruitiness and aroma to their full intensity. Try this wine with a fish soup, various soft cheeses or pasta dishes with light sauces.

Bassermann-Jordan Jesuitengarten Riesling GG trocken

Dieser noch sehr junge Wein stammt von einer der besten Weinlagen der Pfalz. Gelegen am Ortsrand von Forst zwischen Kirchenstück und Ungeheuer, ebenfalls sehr renommierten Weinbergen, ist der Jesuitengarten bekannt für seine eleganten, geschliffenen und feinen Rebsäfte, die voller Mineralität und Komplexität sind. Dieses große Gewächs verdankt seinen Namen den Besitzungen eines ehemaligen Jesuitenklosters von Neustadt an der Weinstrasse. Der 2020er Forster Jesuitengarten ist ein enormer Wein von großer Kraft, leuchtender Ausstrahlung und sehr klarer Struktur. Seine Trauben werden in mehreren Durchgängen gelesen, um eine absolut punktgenau Reife zu garantieren. Im Keller erfolgt zunächst eine getrennte Vinifizierung der zeitlich unterschiedlich gelesenen Trauben und anschliessen werden diese zu 50% im Faß ausgebaut, die andere Hälfte im Edelstahltank. Der Wein wird nach dem Abstich noch auf der Hefe gelassen, was zu seinen Frucht und dem erhabenen Volumen beiträgt.An der Nase Steinobst, exotische Früchte, etwas Rauch, Pfirsich und leichte Kräuteraromen. Am Gaumen stoffig, straff und mit sehr feinen Gerbstoffen, alles balanciert von einer wunderbaren Säurestruktur. Der Nachhall ist beeindruckend lang. Um die volle Power seiner Aromen geniessen zu können, verlangt der 2020er Forster Jesuitengarten noch ein paar Jahre der Reifung. Er wird ohnehin ein langes Leben vor sich haben.Toll zu dunklem Fleisch mit herzhaften Soßen, aber auch zu asiatischen Gerichten und Fisch eine vollkommene Kombination. Und natürlich als Solo-Genuß eine Offenbarung.
