Der Dönnhoff Grauburgunder S QbA trocken verströmt nach dem Entkorken eine Duftkomposition aus sonnengereiften Äpfeln und Birnen, exotischen Litschis und Ananas, nussigen Aromen, würzigen Kräutern und einem Hauch Vanille. Im Gaumen verbinden sich feine Holzaromen mit rauchigen Nuancen vollmundig mit fruchtigen, würzigen und nussigen Komponenten zu einem tiefen, mineralischen Nachhall.

Das Weingut Dönnhof bei Oberhausen produziert den eleganten Weißwein aus reinsortigen Grauburgunder-Trauben, die von den sonnenverwöhnten Hängen des rheinland-pfälzischen Anbaugebiets Nahe stammen. Der reduktive, fruchtschonende Ausbau des Qualitätsweins erfolgt nach gekühlter Vergärung im Holzfass.

Der Dönnhoff Grauburgunder S QbA trocken eignet sich als Sommerwein und passt zu aromatischem Weichkäse. Er harmoniert vorzüglich mit mediterranen Gerichten wie Fisch und Meeresfrüchten und schmeckt ausgezeichnet zu Geflügel.

Salwey Oberrotweil Grauburgunder "RS" QbA

This Pinot Gris from Baden is clear, elegant, typical of this varietal, racy and stimulating in taste. On the palate, it shows noticeable tannins, giving the Salwey Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris) RS QbA a long finish. The white wine is medium-bodied. Eighty per cent of the grapes for this excellent white wine come from the Käsleberg vineyards consisting of natural loess-loam soils. The remaining 20% of the grapes are taken from the Henkenberg and Eichberg Grand Cru vineyards of volcanic origin. The Pinot Gris matured in large wooden casks made of Oberrotweil oak. Oberrotweil im Kaiserstuhl is home to the renowned family-owned Salwey winery. Try this dry, pure varietal Pinot Gris with fried turbot and citrus beurre blanc. Dry, black and gray slate forms the basis of this dry Riesling from the windery Dönnhoff in Rhineland-Palatinate. This full-bodied Riesling has a fine minerality, is wonderfully fruity and offers a wonderful acidity.Especially the slopes of the vineyard called Leistenberg, located in a small valley of the Nahe near Oberhausen are marked by slate-soils. This is where most characterful Rieslings grow, which bear the name of the special soil.The Tonschiefer Dönnhoff Riesling comes from vines that are between 25 and 30 years old.
