Noten von Holunderblüte, Pfirsich, Thymian, Lavendel, Limette und Grapefruit im wundervollen Zusammenspiel. Am Gaumen ist der spontan vergorene, reinsortige Riesling trocken, mit einer prägenden, salzigen Mineralität und großer Eleganz. Der Sankt Urbans-Hof im Mosel-Saar-Gebiet wurde 1947 von Nicolaus Weis gegründet. Sein Enkel Nik Weis trat 1997 in das elterliche Weingut ein und führt seit 2002 gemeinsam mit seiner Frau Daniela Weis, die selbst Winzertochter und diplomierte Kauffrau ist, das Weingut.

Die Rebfläche vom Weingut Sankt Urbans-Hof erstreckt sich über drei Mosel- und drei Saarlagen. Es gibt drei Grand-Cru-Lagen (Leiwener Laurentiuslay, Ockfener Bockstein, Piesporter Goldtröpfchen) und drei Ortslagen (Wiltinger, Saarfeilser, Mehringer), auf denen Nik Weis und sein Team ausdrucksstarke Weine erzeugen.

Das Weingut Sankt Urbans-Hof gehört mit einer Rebfläche von 35 Hektar zu den größten und wichtigsten des Mosel-Saar-Anbaugebietes. Der klare und qualitätsbewusste Stil wurde bereits mehrfach prämiert. Im März 2010 erhielt Nik Weis bei den "Feinschmecker" Wine Awards die Auszeichnung für die Wein-Kollektion des Jahres für das Weingut Sankt Urbans-Hof. Das Weingut exportiert auch in internationale Märkte und ist bekannt für Spitzen-Rieslinge.
