The MAD Mediterranee - MED Blanc IGP is an elegant white wine cuvée from the sunny south of France. With its balanced composition of 70 % Rolle (Vermentino), 10 % Colombard, 10 % Sauvignon Blanc and 10 % Ugni Blanc (Trebbiano), this wine combines freshness, finesse and Mediterranean character.

The grape varieties thrive in a warm climate and are harvested comparatively late - while always retaining an invigorating acidity. After gentle pressing, the grapes are fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruitiness and freshness. The wine then matures in stainless steel tanks, which emphasizes its clarity and aromatic purity.

On the nose, the MAD Mediterranee - MED Blanc IGP presents itself with expressive citrus aromas such as lime and grapefruit, complemented by fine white floral notes and a hint of minerality. On the palate, it impresses with a refined, round mouthfeel, lively freshness and an animating finish with a fine bite.

An ideal accompaniment to light Mediterranean dishes such as grilled fish, seafood, summer salads with citrus fruits or delicately seasoned chicken. It also unfolds its potential with aromatic dishes from North African or Indian cuisine.

The Domaines Ott Clos Mireille Blanc de Blancs has a light yellow color with grey-golden reflections. On the nose, the aromas of exotic fruits, peach and citrus fruits mingle with floral notes of lime blossom and hawthorn. On the palate, this full and aromatic wine shows perfect balance, with fresh notes of grapefruit and lemongrass at the beginning, which develop into round and creamy flavors of white fruits. The long finish is reminiscent of the Clos Mireille terroir, with iodine notes and a soft licorice sweetness.The wine is a creation of 68 percent Sémillon, the particularly noble white grape variety, and 32 percent Vermentino (Rolle), a late-ripening grape variety. The dry wine from South Africa is made from Pinotage grapes.The wine has a light pink color due to the very brief contact of the juice with the skin of the berries. The rosé is a dry, but not off-dry wine. The fruit, especially strawberry and raspberry, remains in the soft finish.A wonderfully fresh and soft wine that is a great terrace wine in summer.
