The Merlot is the "bestseller" among the red wines in the Les Jamelles range. Fruity, round, complex and elegant, this wine is a must that goes well with a wide variety of dishes.

It has a dark color and is very complex, rich, long and fat.

Its aromas are reminiscent of blackberries, currants and cherries, jam and preserved fruit.

The smell is smoky with peat and spicy with cinnamon and thyme.

On the palate it is round, rich and long with a ripe tannin finish. It is well balanced and easy to drink.

Serve at 17 - 18°C with traditional cuisine or spicy dishes: stuffed tomatoes, salted meat with lentils, steak, chicken with ratatouille.

Das Weingut Les Jamelles leiten seit 1991 Catherine und Laurent Delaunay. Beide Önologen stammen aus dem Burgund. Die Familie Delaunay ist seit vier Generationen in der Weinerzeugung tätig.

Les Jamelles liegt in der südfranzösischen Region Languedoc-Roussillon (Pays d'Oc), die auch vielfach als größtes Weinbaugebiet der Welt beschrieben wird.
