The combination of distinctive Pommery champagne and an attractive gift box makes this edition a tasteful choice for many special occasions—whether as a thank-you gift, a small token of appreciation, or a delightful surprise for a loved one. The elegant bottle combines French champagne tradition with a stylish presentation, whetting the appetite for this special treat the moment it’s presented.Pommery Brut Royal is the quintessential classic from the House of Pommery and embodies the heart of its unmistakable style: freshness, vibrancy, and finesse. It matures deep underground in Pommery’s famous chalk cellars. In the historic galleries carved into the chalk cliffs of Reims, the champagne finds ideal conditions for its slow and gentle development. Here, in the cool, constant atmosphere of the chalk, it is allowed to age for more than three years, during which time it develops its characteristic elegance. For this classic cuvée, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier are blended together. The grapes come from a carefully selected combination of nearly 40 Champagne crus, including vineyards in the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims. The chalky soils lend the Brut Royal its delicate minerality, freshness, and elegant presence. In the glass, the champagne shimmers in a delicate pale yellow with light green highlights. Its fine, lively perlage rises elegantly, whetting the appetite for the first sip even before tasting it.Aromatically, too, the Pommery Brut Royal shows its refined side. On the nose, citrus fruits and white flowers blend with delicate hints of red berries. On the palate, it is elegant and lively, with subtle notes of red fruits, a round and full-bodied texture, and a long, harmonious finish. Its balanced character and delicate minerality lend it a special clarity and finesse. As an aperitif champagne, the Brut Royal is a stylish start to special occasions and pairs just as wonderfully with fish, sushi, and sashimi. Served at 6–8 °C, its fine effervescence and elegant bouquet unfold particularly beautifully.
