Pommery Brut Royal Champagne, 0.375-liter half-bottle

Pommery Brut Royal is the quintessential classic from the House of Pommery—an elegant champagne in a convenient 0.375-liter bottle. It embodies the unmistakable Pommery style: freshness, vibrancy, and finesse.

It matures deep underground in Pommery’s famous chalk cellars. The historic galleries carved into the chalk cliffs of Reims provide ideal, constant conditions for the slow and gentle development of the champagne. The Brut Royal is allowed to age here for more than three years—in the cool, quiet atmosphere of the chalk, which has always been inextricably linked to the art of champagne production.

For this distinctive cuvée, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier are blended together. The grapes come from a carefully curated selection of up to 40 different vineyards in Champagne, including renowned crus from the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims. The chalky soils lend Pommery Brut Royal that subtle minerality and elegant presence that define its unmistakable Pommery style.

In the glass, Pommery Brut Royal displays a delicate pale yellow color with light green highlights. A fine, persistent effervescence rises elegantly, already hinting at the freshness and vibrancy that make this champagne so distinctive.

Its aroma is fresh, lively, and delicate. Subtle citrus notes and white flowers blend with delicate hints of red berries. On the palate, the Brut Royal is elegant and lively, with subtle notes of red fruit, a pleasantly round and full-bodied texture, and a long, harmonious finish. Its delicate minerality and balanced character lend it remarkable clarity and finesse.

As a stylish aperitif champagne, the Pommery Brut Royal is a wonderful start to special moments. It also pairs beautifully with fish dishes and Japanese specialties such as sushi and sashimi. Served at 8–10 °C, it reveals its delicate effervescence, freshness, and aromatic elegance to full effect.

The 0.375-liter half-bottle is a charming choice for a special moment for two or whenever a smaller size is more appropriate for the occasion. A great Champagne classic in an elegant, handy size.

A particularly lovely gift idea: Pommery Brut Royal is also available in an attractive gift box—Item No. 2103131—as well as in a 1.5-liter magnum bottle—Item No. 2103132.

Champagne Deutz Brut Rose 0,375 Liter
A many-hued colour with strong pink tinges and fine bubbles. The nose is fresh and direct, with aromas reminiscent of cherries, blackberries, pomegranates and redcurrants. On the palate, the wine shows a deliciously full body that follows on perfectly from the nose. Its flavours remind one of fresh strawberries and raspberries. The finish has a pleasantly acidulous character that adds to the impression of finesse given by this romantic and well-balanced wine. The champagne made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes from the Montagne de Reimsregion, and from Premiers Crus andGrands Crus. Its specific style and colour are the result of blending in 8% of red wine produced from a plot of old vines on the hill of Aÿ, and from a plot known as “Meurtet”. Both are particularly well sited and belong to Deutz. The red wine is made by our cellar-master.After almost three years ageing on its lees, the aromas have softened and harmonised, giving this Brut Rosé a particularly subtle nose, and a very interesting mixture of softness and freshness on the palate. This can be enjoyed as much as an aperitif as with a meal, where it would provide the perfect foil for salmon cooked with mushrooms, beef carpaccio, duck with red berry sauces, roast lamb chops or certain fresh and creamy cheese, such as Chaource or Brillat Savarin. Also available as a 0,75 liter bottle.

Champagne Taittinger Brut Reserve 0,375 l
