Malescot St. Exupéry, das den zweiten Teil seines Namens vom Urgroßvater des Autors vom kleinen Prinzen verdankt, arbeitet aber eher im stillen und nicht so werbewirksam wie einige andere Châteaus. Ähnlich sind die Weine des Gutes, aber von einer unglaublichen Tiefe und Reinheit.

Wir lassen André Kunz (Bxtotal) mit seinen Eindrücken von der Fassprobe zu Wort kommen: "Frisches, seidenes, komplexes Bouquet, Erdbeeren, Himbeergelee, Heidelbeeren, Schiefer, Minze. Eleganter, dichtverwobener Gaumen mit samtener, fein muskulöser Struktur, kräftiger, frischer Frucht, vielfältiger Aromatik, langer, duftiger Abgang".

This rosé from Château d'Esclans is phenomenal. Fragrant notes of mango and nectarine on the nose. On the palate, spicy and minerally with impressive depth. The finish is exceptionally long. An unforgettable rosé of Côtes de Provence, created mainly of Grenache and a minor proportion Rolle (Vermentino).The grapes for the Château d'Esclans Garrus come from vines that are at least 80 years old. For this rosé the Saignée method was used (90% free run juice, 10% first slight pressing). Eight months matured the wine in oak barrels, with regular bâtonnage, the stirring of the lees. The Wine Spectator writes: "Shows impressive length and precision. A gorgeous rose. "Château d'Esclans Garrus: A rosé at Grand Cru level, and it remains unique in Provence. Just enjoy, for example to pies, grilled fish or seafood in a creamy sauce.

The name Sodi is derived from a word used by Tuscan farmers to describe soils that are too steep to be worked with machines. So everything is worked by hand. San Niccolo, on the other hand, is the name of a church located on the estate.The I Sodi di San Niccolo presents itself with a deep red color and an intense bouquet of ripe dark fruits such as cherries, blackcurrants and plums. These aromas are accompanied by notes of spices, cedar wood and tobacco, which give the wine additional complexity. On the palate, I Sodi di San Niccolo is both powerful and elegant.
