The Zantho Blaufränkisch from Burgenland is an elegantly structured, dry red wine.

The vision of the Austrian winery Zantho is to produce exceptional wines together, close to nature and regionally sourced. Their Blaufränkisch grapes, the basis of the Zantho Blaufränkisch Burgenland, grow in warmer locations in the Seewinkel region. The vineyards here are characterized by very dry, stony and mineral soils. The region is one of the hottest and driest wine-growing areas in Austria - ideal conditions for the production of red wines full of character.

After fermentation at a temperature of 30-32°C, the wine is matured in stainless steel tanks.

In the glass, the Blaufränkisch Burgenland is a deep red with violet highlights. The nose is enveloped in unexpectedly fine fruit reminiscent of blackberries and underpinned by mineral notes. The palate also reveals a juicy and deeply spicy berry fruit, supported by a fine acidity. The finish is long and persistent.

The Pfaffl Vom Haus Zweigelt has a nose redolent of ripe cherries. On the palate, the red wine from Lower Austria is full and juicy, with spicy nuances and soft tannins. Zantho Zweigelt Burgenland

Der reinsortige Zantho Zweigelt Burgenland wurde vom östereichischen Weingut Zantho vinifiziert. Die Reben wachsen auf trockenen, steinigen und mineralischen Böden. Die Region Burgenland gehört zu den heißesten und trockensten Weianbaugebieten Österreichs. Das Terroir liefert ausgezeichnete Bedingungen für die Herstellung von charaktervollen Rotweinen.Die Gärung findet in Edelstahltanks bei 28-32°C statt. Die Reifung erfolgt ebenfalls für ca. 8 Monate in Edelstahl.Die Farbe des Zweigelts ist tief Rot. In der Nase zeigt sich der Rotwein in herrlichen Fruchtaromen von Kirschen und dunklen Beeren, die von einem Hauch Zimt unterstützt werden. Am Gaumen schmeichelt der Klassiker ebenfalls mit saftiger Frucht gepaart mit feiner Würze. Der volle Körper wird von einer feinen Säure getragen, die in einem langen und vollen Abgang enden.

This wine matured for two years in oak casks. It shows dense fruit (black cherries, sour cherries) on the palate, with well-integrated wooden notes and velvety tannins. Its finish offers fine hints of dark chocolate. Best time to drink: now and in the coming 10 to 15 years The wine goes beautifully with heavy roast poultry and various game dishes. It is also an ideal accompaniment to steaks, fillet of beef and game pâté. You’ll enjoy trying it with hard cheeses (Parmesan, Gouda, alpine cheese, etc.) as well.

The grapes used for the Bründlmayer Zweigelt ripen in the wine-growing area of Kamptal, located about 80 kilometres west of Vienna. In the nose, the wine is spicy with lovely flavours of wild berries and toasted notes, complemented by a brief hint of pepper. The mild to medium-bodied wine has a relatively youthful tannin content.The Bründlmayer Zweigelt matured in stainless steel tanks and in mostly used Austrian oak casks. Der Gritsch Kalmuck Grüner Veltliner Federspiel sagt schon mit seinem Namen, dass es sich um einen besonderen Weißwein handelt. So ist Federspiel die Bezeichnung für Wachauer Weine des Verbandes Vinea Wachau Noblis Districuts, ein Zusammenschluss von Winzern mit dem Ziel, die Weine des gesetzlich abgegrenzten Weinbaugebietes Wachau in ihrer Qualität und ihrer Bekanntheit zu fördern. Gleichzeitig handelt es sich um eine Gebietsmarke der gleichnamigen Winzervereinigung.Die Rebsorte Grüner Veltliner wächst in verschiedenen Weingärten am linken Donauufer von Spitz bis Loiben. Die Trauben werden von Hand geerntet. Es folgt eine schonende Pressung und Verarbeitung. Die Gärung ist temperaturkontrolliert und findet in Edelstahltanks statt. Anschließend reift der Rebsaft auf der Feinhefe.Der reinsortige Gritsch Kalmuck Grüner Veltliner Federspiel zeigt sich in der Nase mit komplexen Aromen von schwarzen Pfeffer und Weideblüten, sowie einem Hauch von Melisse und grünem Apfel.
