The Pfaffl Zeisen Grüner Veltiner appears in a radiant greenish-yellow, with a charming pepper nose right at the start, accompanied by citrus and meadow herbs.

At first, the Weinviertel Zeisen is juicy and crisp on the palate. Here you realize how refreshing Veltliner can be! The spicy finish invites you to spend a cozy little while with this dry white wine.

You can also be creative with your food here - from delicate fish to snacks to Asian dishes, everything is allowed and tastes good.

The southern slope of Zeiseneck heats up quite a bit during the day, but the nearby forest ensures cool nights. These contrasts create the delicate style that characterizes this peppery Veltliner.

Hinter den Topweinen der Region steht die fünfköpfige Pfaffl-Familie. Die Geschwister Roman, Elisabeth und Heidemarie arbeiten mit ihren Eltern Roman und Adelheid voller Elan und Hingabe an ihren Weinen. Eine Symbiose aus fortschrittlichem Denken und jahrelanger Erfahrung ergibt ein Sortiment, welches nicht nur in Österreich geschätzt wird, sondern auch in aller Welt Weinkenner überzeugt.

Für einen erstklassigen Wein braucht man erstklassige Trauben. Beste Lagen mit ihren unterschiedlichen Böden sind dafür eine Grundvoraussetzung.

Die Bewirtschaftung der Weingärten erfolgt nach dem Prinzip des integrierten Weinbaus, bei dem die Natur und deren Erhaltung im Vordergrund stehen.

The Pfaffl Wien.1 is a white wine cuvée full of character from the renowned R&A Pfaffl winery in the Weinviertel region of Lower Austria.The traditional Viennese “Gemischter Satz” served as the inspiration for this blend from the Pfaffl Winery in Lower Austria. Although the vineyards are now planted with single varieties so that the harvest date can be adapted to the needs of each variety, the idea of combining the advantages of multiple varieties in a single white wine remains. What’s true for classical music also applies to the Pfaffl Gemischter Satz Harmony: many high-quality elements unite to create a harmonious whole. Roman Josef Pfaffl succeeded in creating a spicy, light wine full of vividness, freshness and fruitiness, consisting mainly of the Riesling Pinot Blanc and Grüner Veltliner. The grapes for this wine were harvested by hand. The wine matured for 3 months in stainless steel tanks before it was bottled in Burgundy bottles with screwcaps.The Pfaffl Gemischter Satz Harmony also expresses the return to the distinctive character of such cuvées. The focus on pure varietal wines pushed these blends into the background for a long time, but they are now being increasingly rediscovered. The wines from the Weinviertel region, the biggest Austrian wine-growing area extending over approximately 44,479 acres, are often influenced by the Grüner Veltliner grape variety. In the “Veltliner region”, 50% of the wine-growing areas are cultivated with this grape variety so typical of Austria.The Pfaffl Gemischter Satz Harmony is a real pleasure on the palate and goes well with practically everything.
