A wonderfully uncomplicated yet characterful white wine from Austria: "Christoph Körner," wrote Falstaff magazine recently, "deliberately avoids cardboardy opulence in his wines and instead focuses on freshness and elegance." Connoisseurs can get their own impression of this with the Dürnberg Grüner Veltliner.
The white wine from the north-eastern Weinviertel region has a wonderfully stimulating aroma of green apples and citrus fruits, which give the pure Grüner Veltliner a great freshness. On the palate, the Austrian white wine matured in stainless steel tanks is light and tangy, with fine aromas of grapefruit that harmonize wonderfully with a spicy undertone.
White wines with a present, fresh fruitiness and mild acidity are the hallmark of Dürnberg. Its low alcohol content also makes Dürnberg Grüner Veltliner the perfect companion for carefree, balmy spring and summer evenings.
Discover this vegan white wine at a drinking temperature of 10 to 12 degrees. It is a fine accompaniment to light starters, creamy fennel soup, cabbage rolls and roast pork.
