Trapiche Tesoro Cabernet Sauvignon

The Trapiche Tesoro Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the famous wine region of Mendoza, Argentina. The traditional Bodega Trapiche, known for its excellent wine quality, produces an expressive red wine full of character with this wine, which reflects the typical characteristics of the grape variety in a wonderful way.

The red wine has a deep ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose reveals intense aromas of blackcurrants, plums and cherries, accompanied by spicy notes such as tobacco, chocolate and mocha. On the palate, the Tesoro Cabernet Sauvignon is full-bodied with soft, supple tannins, a harmonious acidity and a long, spicy finish.
The wine matured for 13 months in used oak barrels, which gives it additional complexity and fine roasted aromas.

The Trapiche Tesoro Cabernet Sauvignon is an excellent accompaniment to venison steak with a blackcurrant sauce.

Miles Mossop The Introduction Red comes from the South African wine estate Miles Mossop in Stellenbosch, which stands for terroir-driven, handcrafted wines. Miles Mossop pursues a clear philosophy: grapes from exceptional vineyards are harvested at the optimum point of ripeness and accompanied through the natural winemaking process to produce expressive, individual wines.This Stellenbosch heritage cuvée consists of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault, Merlot and a touch of Petit Verdot from carefully selected vineyards. The grapes are harvested by hand, sorted and fermented spontaneously in wooden and stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine matures for up to 20 months in old French oak barrels to develop depth and structure while retaining the freshness and purity of the grapes.In the glass, the Miles Mossop Introduction Red is a deep garnet red. Château La Maroutine AOC 2018
Die alkoholische Gärung dieses zu 80% aus Merlot und zu 20% aus Cabernet Sauvignon bestehenden Rebsaftes dauert zwischen 8 bis 10 Tagen, mit zweimaligem Umpumpen am Tag. Dies unterstützt die optimale Extraktion der Aromen. Es folgt eine lange Mazeration von 25 bis 30 Tagen. Die malolaktische Gärung erfolgt in Tanks. Dort reift er weiter für etwa 18 Monate, bis er schließlich abgefüllt wird.Der Château La Maroutine 2018 überzeugt durch eine rubinrote Farbe. Die Nase zeigt charmante Kirschnoten und Kaffee- sowie Röstaromen. Am Gaumen vermittelt dieser Bordeaux eher einen weichen, vollen und runden Stil, wobei die Tannine zwar präsent, aber geschliffen und samtig sind. Der Merlot wirkt hier gut gereift und verführt mit schöner, dichter Frucht.Ein klassischer Bordeaux, der jetzt bis 2025 auf der Höhe der Trinkreife sein dürfte.Ein Genuß in geselliger Runde, aber auch sehr gut im food-pairing mit Gulasch, Braten oder zur Käseplatte.

The ‘Barrel Selection’ line from the Salentein winery comprises pure varietal wines whose vines grow in vineyards situated between 1050 and 1700 metres above sea level, irrigated by the clean meltwater from the Andes mountains. The stony soils protect the vines from excessively cool temperatures at night. During the day, the hot climate and lots of sunshine form the ideal basis to create wines that wonderfully reflect the characteristics of the terroir of the Uco Valley. The finish is long and very smooth. This Malbec is fresh and fruity, with a lovely intensity.We recommend drinking it at a temperature of 16 °C (60.8 °F). The wine goes beautifully with grilled dishes, beef, lamb or cheeses.
