The Winery Tenuta Guado al Tasso offers Il Bruciato, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. On the nose, intense aromas of ripe berries such as raspberries and blueberries. In addition, a pleasant, subtle, sweet spice and toasty aromas and hints of vanilla.The wine was aged for eight months in oak barrels and then refined four months on the bottle.Excellent berries, strong acidity and tannins characterize the Il Bruciato. Guado al Tasso Bolgheri DOC Superiore

The Guado al Tasso is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The wonderful wine comes from the Tenuta Guado al Tasso. It is located about 80 kilometres southwest of Florence, near the medieval village of Bolgheri. The grapes were aged separately in new oak barrels for 12 months. The best parts were assembled and matured for six further months in small barrels before the wine was bottled.The Merlot gives the Guado al Tasso, a subtle sweetness and density and intense aromas of dark fruit. Cabernet Sauvignon offers notes of dark fruits and licorice. Cabernet Franc finally gives harmony and balance, while Petit Verdot completes the bouquet with a hint of spice.Enjoy an elegant wine from Tuscany, for which the grapes were handpicked and processed with great meticulousness.

Guado al Tasso gehört zu den wenigen Weingütern, welche auch einen hervorragenden Weißwein vinifiziert. Der Vermentino wurde erstmals 1996 produziert und erfreut sich seither großer Beliebtheit. Zahlreiche Auszeichnungen Jahr für Jahr dokumentieren die hohe Qualität dieses Weines.Guado al Tasso Vermentino zeigt sich strohgelb im Glas. Leichte grünliche Reflexe spiegeln sich an der Oberfläche. Der Weißwein duftet wunderbar intensiv nach Zitrusfrucht, Holunderblüte und Orangeblüte. Am Gaumen ist er herrlich frisch und ausgewogen. Dank des milden Meeresklimas und einer ständigen Brise bei hoher Sonneneinstrahlung präsentiert sich dieser Vermentino extrem komplex und vollmundig.Nicht nur solo, sondern auch in Kombination mit mediterranen Vorspeisen oder zu Spargel ein er ein wirklicher Genuss.
