The bouquet of the Torremilanos Crianza is intensely fruity. The creation of 95% Tempranillo and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon combines multi-faceted notes of black cherries, blueberries, currants, blackberries and plums. This impressive bouquet is complemented by notes of nut chocolate and nuances of roasted meat as well as thyme and lavender.On the palate, this red wine from the Ribera del Duero region is velvety and juicy, with a stimulating minerality and freshness. The aromas are also intense here. It includes aromas of mocha bean and smoke, as well as intense fruitiness and a slightly exotic spiciness.The ruby red wine matured for 24 months in American and French oak barrels. The Peñalba Lopez family, owners of Finca Torremilanos, own a cooperage and traditionally make the barrels themselves. The wood is toasted in-house. The great spiciness, the great harmony and the characteristic smoky notes of the Torremilanos creations are also due to this craftsmanship.The Torremilanos Crianza will continue to be a delight until 2031. Torremilanos Montecastrillo Tinto Ribera del Duero DO 2024

The Montecastrillo Tinto Ribera del Duero from Finca Torremilanos has a wonderfully fresh and fruity aroma of blackberries, black cherries and plums. There are also harmonious tones of juniper and liquorice, as well as a warm spiciness and nuances of toast. This Spanish red wine is velvety on the palate, with a fine interplay of sweetness and delicate bitterness. Aromas of black and blue fruits are prominent here, along with pleasant mineral notes. The finish is wonderfully fruity.The harmonious, accessible Montecastrillo Tinto is a creation of 90% Tempranillo and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. The red wine from the Ribera del Duero region has a dark purple color with a violet shimmer in the glass. The winemakers at Finca Torremilanos matured the Tempranillo in used French and American oak barrels for 4 months. Incidentally, the barrels come from the in-house cooperage of the Peñalba Lopez family, the owners of the winery. The highest quality standards also apply in the cooperage.Montecastrillo is made from grapes from the youngest vineyards in Torremilanos. The vines are between 15 and 25 years old. Der Vega Sicilia Macán Clásico ist sozusagen der Zweitwein, der aus der faszinierenden Zusammenarbeit von Vega Sicilia und Benjamin de Rothschild in der Rioja hervorgeht. Aber was heißt hier schon Zweitwein. Wer diesen Tempranillo öffnet, merkt schnell, dass dies einmal mehr eine erstklassige Kreation ist. 93+ Punkte in Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate für den Vega Sicilia Macán Clásico 2019 sprechen für sich.Herrlich anregende Düfte von Brombeeren und Pflaumen prägen das Bouquet, wunderbar harmonierend mit Noten von Schokolade und einer feinen Würze. „Reichhaltige, aber raffinierte und vielschichtige Nase, die dunkle Pflaumen, getrocknete Erdbeeren, Oliven, Kakaobohnen und einige herzhafte mediterrane Gewürze entfaltet“, schreibt US-Weinkritiker James Suckling, der für den Macán Clásico 2019 stolze 93 Punkte vergibt.Am Gaumen ist der reinsortige Tempranillo (von mehr als drei Jahrzehnten alten Rebstöcken) trocken und kraftvoll, herrlich saftig und fruchtbetont. Der Wein „hat einen moderaten Alkoholgehalt von 14 %, eine milde Säure und eine gute Frische und Ausgewogenheit“, urteilt Luis Gutiérrez im Wine Advocate. „2019 war ein trockenes und warmes Jahr, in dem sie eine sanfte Weinbereitung durchführten, um harte Tannine zu vermeiden. Die Nase ist reif ohne Übermaß, und die Eiche ist elegant integriert.Der Macán Clásico 2019 wurde für etwa 12 Monate größtenteils in neuen und gebrauchten französischen Eichenfässern ausgebaut. Der Macán ist ein reinsortiger Tempranillo aus der Rioja, der auch im Jahrgang 2018 ein Ausnahme-Rotwein ist.Das Bouquet des spanischen Rotweins ist faszinierend facettenreich. Es vereint Noten von Brombeeren und Pflaumen mit hintergründigen Düften von Lakritz, Tabak, Kaffee, Schokolade und Zimt. Der US-Weinkritiker schreibt: „Eine schöne, komplexe Nase mit weichen Gewürzen, Zeder, frischen Brombeeren, roten Pflaumen, Trüffeln und einem Hauch von Walnüssen und Mokka.“Am Gaumen ist diese Kreation von Vega Sicialia und Baron de Rothschild trocken und kraftvoll, mit raumgreifenden Tanninen und einer eindrucksvollen Fruchtbetontheit. „Der Macán 2018 hat einen moderaten Alkoholgehalt (14 %) und mehr Frische (pH 3,69), was auf ein kühleres und regnerisches Jahr zurückzuführen ist, das sie veranlasste, die Sortierung und Auswahl der Trauben zu verfeinern“, erläutert Luis Gutiérrez in Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate einige Hintergründe. Er bewertet den Wein mit 94+.16 Monate wurde der Macán 2018 im Eichernholz ausgebaut, wobei zu 55 Prozent Barriquefässer eingesetzt wurden und zusätzlich große Fässer. Die Trauben stammen von Rebstöcken, die fast vier Jahrzehnte alt sind. Entdecken Sie diesen Tempranillo, der im August 2020 in Flaschen abgefüllt wurde, bei einer Trinktemperatur von etwa 18 Grad. The Vina Tondonia Reserva from the legendary López de Heredia family winery is a flagship of classic Rioja tradition. Located near Haro, the estate is one of the oldest and most respected producers in the region - with an uncompromising focus on craftsmanship, time and authenticity.In the glass, the Vina Tondonia Reserva is a deep red, slightly amber in color.
