The Telmo Rodriguez Basa DO Rueda has an enticingly fruity and spicy bouquet offering notes of passion fruit, melon, citrus fruit and pears, along with nuances of fennel and hints of minerals. This blend, consisting of Verdejo and Viura, is elegant, fresh and very harmonious on the palate, with a wonderful texture and a lovely, mineral finish.The grapes for this wonderfully accessible white wine from the Rueda region come from bush vines that are cultivated without wire trellis training systems. The Telmo Rodriguez Basa DO Rueda is not only a terrace wine that is lovely on its own, but is ideal with Spanish omelettes and fried white fish as well.In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the wine, special labels were designed by different artists. The winery changes between these labels. We have no influence which label will be delivered.

Telmo Rodriguez Dehesa Gago DO

The Telmo Rodriguez Dehesa Gago DO is a single-varietal Tinta de Toro - a local variant of the Tempranillo grape variety - and an authentic expression of the terroir of the Toro region. Eight winegrowing families cultivate their old bush vines in a low planting density and the grapes are traditionally harvested by hand. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and six months of ageing in stainless steel tanks preserve the pure fruit and freshness of the wine, which is deliberately not aged in wood.The nose reveals an enticing bouquet of fresh cherries, blackberries and fine chocolate notes, complemented by a pleasant spiciness. On the palate, this red wine impresses with its juicy fruit, good structure, harmonious acidity and soft texture. The lively freshness and impressive fruit intensity make it accessible and expressive right from the start.Enjoy this Telmo Rodriguez Dehesa Gago DO with grilled lamb, beef or spicy hard cheese. The Telmo Rodriguez Gaba do Xil O Barreiro smells of white flowers, dried light fruits, spices, almonds and honey. On the palate, the white wine is fresh and accessible, with subliminally noticeable tannins and a fine minerality. The Godello, an indigenous Galician grape variety, gives this wine its special characteristics. The name of the white wine is inspired by the river Sil, which flows through the region and was called Xil in ancient times. Enjoy this white wine from Spain with white meat dishes. The Telmo Rodriguez Lanzaga Rioja matured for 14 months in oak, using large and small barrels. This red wine has an intense aroma of blackberries and blackcurrants and is beautifully spicy. Nuances of fennel, licorice and aniseed enrich the bouquet.On the palate, this Tempranillo from the Rioja Alavesa sub-region is fresh, melting and warm, with finely polished tannins.tannins. The intense finish lingers for a long time.Luis Gutiérrez awards 92 points in Robert Parker's Wine Advocate and also has this recommendation ready: "The bouquet is spectacular after an hour in the glass, so if you want to drink the wine in the near future, I would open and decant it in good time."

Telmo Rodriguez Pegaso Pizarra

The grapes for the Telmo Rodriguez Pegaso Pizarra come from vineyards located in the shadow of the La Paramera mountains. The bush vines in the used vineyards located in Cebreros are between 60 and 80 years old and form the basis for a Garnacha of great depth. The bouquet offers notes of blackberries, black cherries and balsamic aromas as well as earthy notes and mineral nuances. On the palate, the red wine is fleshy, juicy, medium-bodied and concentrated. The fine tannins are wonderfully integrated. We recommend decanting the garnet-red wine before drinking it so that it can develop its full quality. ‘Barrancos de Pizarra’ means steep slate slopes. The red wine reflects this terroir in an impressive, authentic manner. Try this high-quality wine (94 points) whose review in Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate ends beautifully and simply with the comment ‘Great!’.
