The Summertime Moscato White from the Spier winery in South Africa's Western Cape delights with an intense bouquet of sweet nutmeg, bergamot, kiwi and yellow citrus fruits. Light to medium-bodied on the palate, harmoniously fruity with a long-lasting, muscaty finish.The wine is made from Hanepoot and Colombard grapes. The grapes are gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks, with fermentation stopped early to preserve the natural residual sugar. Before bottling, the wine matures on the fine lees, which gives it additional freshness and harmony.Pure and slightly chilled, the Spier Summertime Moscato White is a delight with spicy curries or fresh desserts and develops its full aroma at 6-8 °C.
