The traditional creation of the winemaker Paul Jaboulet Aîné offers aromas of red currant, a lovely spiciness and vanilla notes. On the palate the wine is dry, medium-bodied, with velvety tannins and a long, spicy finish.The Parallèle 45 Rouge from vineyards in the southern Rhône valley on the 45th parallel, comes from 25 year old vines. A wonderfully fruity wine, matured in stainless steel tanks that is a fine accompaniment to grilled meats and cheeses.
