Diemersfontein The Prodigy Pinotage is a red wine from the Wellington region of South Africa. The wine is made from the unique South African Pinotage grape variety, which was created by crossing Pinot Noir and Cinsault.Diemersfontein has earned an excellent reputation for its Pinotage wines and is particularly known for its quality products. This Pinotage is young and refreshing, unlike the other wines in the Diemersfontein Pinotage and Carpe Diem Reserve range. The name "The Prodigy" is intended to express the fact that this wine radiates a special claim to youthfulness and liveliness. The Prodigy Pinotage presents aromas of dark red fruits such as black cherries and blackberries. On the palate, these are enveloped by notes of plums, strawberries and spices.Diemersfontein The Prodigy Pinotage is multi-layered and balanced and is therefore an excellent accompaniment to grilled meats, roast duck or lamb dishes.

Diemersfontein Thokozani Cabernet Franc

Der Diemersfontein Thokozani Cabernet Franc ist ein südafrikanischer Rotwein aus der Region Wellington. Diese Cabernet Franc-Variante besticht durch ihre einzigartige Persönlichkeit und komplexe Aromen. In der Nase entfaltet der Wein fast explosionsartig intensive Aromen von dunklen Beeren, wie Pflaume und Cassis mit einer zarten Kräuternote. Am Gaumen beeindruckt der Thokozani Cabernet Franc mit einem mittelkräftigen Körper und seidigen Tanninen aus einer 16 Monate langen Fassreife in gebrauchten französischen Eichenfässern. Noten von grünem Pfeffer verleihen dem Geschmackserlebnis zusätzliche Tiefe. Diemersfontein Thokozani SMV

The Diemersfontein Thokozani Shiraz Mouvedre Viognier is a joint project of many employees of the Diemersfontein winery. The red wine is vinified under the leadership of the Diemersfontein wine team. Thokozani is an independent company in which the employees, who are also the shareholders, create their own capital. The wine is redolent of mocha, dark chocolate and tobacco, complemented by hints of liquorice. On the palate, the wine shows sweet aromas of black fruit, along with nuances of spices. The Shiraz Mouvedre Viognier from Thokozani is savoury, with fine, silky tannins. Its finish is accompanied by notes of butterscotch and smoked bacon.Try this intense red wine with steaks with chili sauce or wild boar with a creamy mushroom sauce.
