Barón de Ley Reserva Is made from grapes coming from our own vineyards in Mendavia (Rioja Baja). The climate in this part of Rioja, with clear Mediterranean influence, provides excellent maturations which, combined with a low yield viticulture (5.000 kgrs/Ha. aproximately), result in modern Riojas with a “mediterranean soul”; wines with combine remarkable power with the elegance and harmony that have always been characteristic of the Rioja wines. The wine was aged for 20 months in new american oak casks, and afterwards 24 months in bottle until arriving to its ideal moment for enjoyment. This wine has not been submitted to filterings or artificial stabilizations, which might result in the appearance of natural sediments in the bottle.With an attractive red ruby coulour with medium-high intensity, in the nose it suprises for a powerful fruit remarkably blended with traces from its noble ageing: coconut and toffee, evolving into seductive nuances of spices and mediterranean bush. The attack is truly powerful and develops in the mouth a pleasant sensation of volume and onctuosity with drives us to a long finish, nervous and fresh due to its optimum acidity, and bringing back an aftertaste with red fruits and again mediterranean bushes.

Der Bodegas LAN Gran Reserva besteht zu 90% aus Tempranillo Trauben und zu 10% aus Mazuelo Trauben. Die Trauben wurden sorgfältig ausgewählt und stammen von den besten Weinstöcken mit einem Alter von 20-25 Jahren.Im Glas besitzt der Wein eine helle kirschrote Farbe mit leichten Orange-Tönen. In der Nase ist dieser Rotwein expressiv mit Aromen von Vanille, Zimt, Zeder und roten Früchten.  Der Abgang zeigt sich sehr lang mit großer Komplexität. Der Wein reifte 2 Jahre in amerikanischen Eichenfässern und danach noch 3 Jahre in der Flasche.Der Bodegas LAN Gran Reserva ist ein Wein zu besonderen Anlässen. The Zenato Valpolicella is somewhat similar to the Bardolino; however, the Valpolicella is a little more powerful and shows a fuller body – it is simply of better quality.
