Der Boekenhoutskloof Chocolate Block ist ein unverwechselbares Geschmackserlebnis aus Südafrika. In der Nase vereint dieser Blend aus knapp drei Viertel Syrah (Shiraz) sowie kleineren Anteilen von Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache Noir, Cinsault und Viognier vielfältige Noten: Intensive Kirschnoten, Kardamom, süßer Tabak, Espresso und ein Hauch von Parfüm kommen hier zusammen. Am Gaumen vollmundig und rund, mit sehr guter Struktur, erfrischender Säure, einer rauchigen Mineralität und Aromen von schwarzen Oliven, sowie Lakritz und reifen Pflaumen.Für 16 Monate wurde der Boekenhoutskloof Chocolate Block im Eichenholz ausgebaut, wobei zu 10% neue Fässer zum Einsatz kamen. Der außergewöhnliche Wein passt ideal zu Pasta und Pizza, dunklem Fleisch (gebraten oder gegrillt), zu Geräuchertem oder zu mittelkräftigem Käse oder Hartkäse.Auch als 1.5-Liter-Magnum-Flasche erhältlich.

14 months the Yarden Merlot was aged in French oak barrels. The nose is wonderfully complex, the wine offers aromas of dark fruits, herbs de Provence, bay leaves and green olives. Then there are the subtle hints of oak.On the palate the 100% Merlot is full-bodied. The red wine is powerful and dense, yet remarkably elegant and balanced. The silver medal at the international competition Mundus Vini 2014 is only one of many hints for the quality of this wine.Enjoy the Yarden Merlot to lamb or roast beef.

As a special feature, this exceptional grappa matured for 18 months in small barrels made of cherry wood, ash, oak and robinia, giving this grappa its typical intense and ethereal fragrance with fine vanilla aromas, deep colour and full flavour. The Marzadro Grappa Stravecchia Le Diciotto Lune is round and silky on the palate. The name “Le Diciotto Lune” (18 moons) means that the grappa aged for 18 months in wooden casks.
