The Spier Secret Sparkling Rosé is a brilliant salmon-pink in the glass. This sparkling rosé wine is redolent of strawberries and raspberries, complemented by hints of nutmeg. It is wonderfully sparkling on the palate, showing a noticeable sweetness of honey. The taste is light and fruity. The Spier Secret Sparkling Rosé has a crisp, fresh finish. A fine effervescence makes this sparkling wine sheer drinking pleasure down to the last drop.

The grapes for this rosé come from vines that are between 14 and 18 years old. They grow in vineyards with southern exposures in Stellenbosch, Paarl and Breedekloof.

Enjoy the Spier Secret Sparkling Rosé on its own as an aperitif or with brunch.

Die Trauben des Spier Signature Chardonnay aus der Region Western Cape in Südafrika werden früh morgens von Februar bis März per Hand geerntet. Nach der Handlese werden sie gepresst und in Edelstahltanks mit ausgewählten Hefestämmen fermentiert, wobei später nur die besten Tanks verwertet werden. Zudem wurde nur ein kleiner Teil in neuen französischen Eichenfässern ausgebaut, was für eine schöne Struktur und Komplexität des Weines sorgt.Der trockene Weißwein zeigt sich im Glas leicht strohgelb mit grünlichen Reflexen. Im Bouquet finden sich Noten von Grapefruit, Limette, gelbem Apfel, Banane, Birne und einen Hauch von Vanille wieder. Am Gaumen überzeugt der Spier Signature Chardonnay mit fruchtigen Noten, einem cremigen Mundgefühl und einem schönen Säurespiel mit großer Ausgewogenheit.Der reinsortige Chardonnay stammt von dem Weingut Spier und lässt sich am besten mit gebratenem Lachs in Zitronen-Butter-Soße oder Ente kombinieren und bei einer empfohlenen Trinktemperatur von 10 °C. genießen.

Das in der Kap Region in Südafrika beheimatete Projekt dreier Freunde symbolisiert den Kampf, die Leidenschaft und das Engagement, die erforderlich sind, um jeden neuen Jahrgang handgefertigter Weine zu produzieren. Die Aristea Pflanze zeichnet gleiche Eigenschaften aus und so war die Wahl des Namens für das Projekt und Weingut recht einfach gefunden.
