Der Vite Colte Barbera d'Asti Superiore Luna e i Falo besteht zu 100% aus der Rebsorte Barbera. Die Rebfläche in der bekannten Weinregion Piemont umfasst 60 Hektar und wird von den Winzern sorgfältig gepflegt. Der Ertrag ist niedrig, aber von hoher Qualität. Ziel des Weinguts Vite Colte ist es einen besseren Wein mit dem besten Gleichgewicht zwischen Struktur und Aroma zu erhalten.

Die Weinbereitung erfolgt auf traditionelle Weise mit einer 10-tägigen Mazeration bei einer Temperatur von 20-30 °C, gefolgt von der malolaktischen Gärung. Der Wein reift ca. 12 Monate in Barriques, in denen sich dieser gut strukturierte Barbera weiter verbessert und sich zu einem komplexen und eleganten Wein entwickelt.
