Bründlmayer Kamptal Terrassen Grüner Veltliner

The wine has a bouquet of wild flowers and herbs, with hints of fresh fruit such as citrus and pome fruit. The wine is fresh, has a peppery appeal and tangible wealth.
The palate is fruity, balanced, rich and spicy with a mineral finish.

The grapes come from young vineyards around Langelois where they grow at high- and low-lying terraces. The grapes from high-lying terraces are made of vines on stony soils, which produce long-lasting and fragrant wines. The grapes from low-lying terraces give the wine some other properties. These wines will mature earlier and have a stronger expression, they have more fullness and fruit.
In this wine the finesse of high-lying and the power of the low-lying terraces are combined.

The wine is fermented in steel tanks and aged on the lees and has a clear character.

An ideal accompaniment to seafood, cold appetizers, Asian food, lean smoked or fresh cheese, baked, roasted chicken or turkey, veal or pork, white meat and fish in light sauce, to vegetarian food.

The Pfaffl Grüner Veltliner Hund is a lively and characterful white wine from the heart of Lower Austria that perfectly reflects the typical qualities of the Austrian Grüner Veltliner grape variety.Although the work on the Hundsleiten vineyard is tough due to the steepness of this stony site ("hundsn"), the vines, which are over 30 years old, reward this with particularly extract-rich wines.A clear pepper spice, accompanied by charming orange and pineapple aromas, already announces the complexity of the Veltliner on the nose. The complexity reaches its peak on the palate, where pepper meets minerality and citrus meets apple. The rich bouquet of Grüner Veltliner HUND Weinviertel DAC Reserve becomes clearer with every sip, and a long finish invites you to enjoy another glass. This wonderful dry white wine from Austria is ideal with typical Viennese cuisine, but also goes wonderfully with exotic dishes or fresh salads.
