Juan Gil Blue Label DOP

Juan Gil Blue Label DOP is a premium red wine produced by Bodegas Juan Gil, a family business in the Jumilla region of south-eastern Spain. The wine is made predominantly from Monastrell grapes grown on old, low-yielding vines in the rugged, sun-drenched hills of the region. Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah grapes are added to give the wine a fine spiciness.

The Juan Gil Blue Label DOP matures for 18 months in French oak barrels, giving the wine complex aromas of vanilla, toast and pepper.

The Spanish red wine has a deep, dark and intense red color with aromas of blackberries, blueberries and plums as well as hints of tobacco, leather and dark chocolate. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and rich, with velvety tannins and a long, lingering finish.

Juan Gil Blue Label DOP is considered one of the best wines from Bodegas Juan Gil and has received numerous awards and prizes from wine critics and wine lovers all over the world. It goes well with rich, spicy dishes such as grilled meat, stews and game.

Bodegas Mas Alta Artigas Priorat DOCa
The majority of the vines at Bodegas Mas Alta are between 50 and 120 years old. The yields are therefore lower, but the product is more outstanding year after year. The Bodegas Mas Alta Artigas Priorat is a wonderful example of this. A red wine from Priorat that has long captivated international wine critics. This vintage is a blend of 80 percent Grenache Noir, 10 percent Carignan and 10 percent Cabernet Sauvignon. The bouquet of this Spanish red wine is wonderfully stimulating and fruity, with notes of cherries, raspberries and blackberries. There are also sweet nuances that round off the bouquet, such as cocoa, pomegranate and prune. On the palate, the garnet-red wine is dry and pleasantly soft. "With a more pronounced oak note, but the overall balance, integration and mouthfeel are better, especially the texture with finer-grained tannins and a supple finish," says Luis Gutiérrez in Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, awarding the Artigas a proud 92 points.this blend from the north-west of Spain matured for 16 months in oak barrels. The Grenache Noir matured in third-fill barrels, while the Carignan and Cabernet Sauvignon were aged in newer barrels.Enjoy the Bodegas Mas Alta Artigas at a drinking temperature of 16 to 18 degrees. This top red wine from Priorat is an ideal accompaniment to fillet of beef or lamb chops. It is also a very good choice with game dishes.

Clos Henri Estate Sauvignon Blanc Organic
The Clos Henri Estate Sauvignon Blanc Organic is an expressive white wine from New Zealand that impressively reflects the terroir of the renowned Marlborough wine region. This organic wine comes exclusively from Clos Henri Estate's own vineyards located in the Wairau Valley - a sub-region known for its cool climate and mineral-rich soils. The grapes for this Sauvignon Blanc are cultivated in high planting density on three different soil types: clayey Wither and Broadbridge subsoil as well as barren Greywacke stones. This special soil diversity - created by two prehistoric glacial movements - gives the wine its multi-layered structure and elegant minerality. Organic cultivation, dry farming and selective harvesting produce a wine typical of the grape variety with a clear expression of the terroir. After gentle pressing and separation of the must, it is fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The wine then matures for three months on the fine lees - with regular batonnage - to develop additional complexity and structure. The result is a fresh, textured Sauvignon Blanc with excellent ageing potential of five to eight years. In the glass, the Clos Henri Sauvignon Blanc shines in a light straw yellow. Intense aromas of lemon blossom, orange zest and fresh grapefruit unfold on the nose. On the palate, the wine is lively, clear and juicy - with precise acidity and a long, mineral finish. This Sauvignon Blanc is an ideal accompaniment to ceviche, tuna tataki, goat's cheese tart or fresh figs. Serve at 10-12 °C to bring out its delicate aromas to the full.
