Neethlingshof Jackal's Dance Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc

The Neethlingshof Jackal's Dance Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc comes from a single vineyard in Stellenbosch, South Africa. The vines were planted in 1997 on deep clay soils (Tukulu and Oakleaf) and benefit from the proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, which provides cool nights and fresh sea breezes. These conditions allow the grapes to ripen slowly and preserve their natural acidity.

The grapes are harvested by hand early in the morning to preserve freshness and aromas. After gentle pressing, temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The dry white wine then matures on the fine lees, which gives it a lively texture and depth. Strict vegan guidelines are adhered to throughout the entire process.

In the glass, the Neethlingshof Jackal's Dance Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc is a pale lemon yellow. The bouquet reveals aromas of white pear, guava, ripe yellow apple, cape gooseberry and a hint of elderflower. On the palate, it is full-bodied with intense fruit concentration and flavors of pear, lemon cream, passion fruit and apricot. A lively acidity rounds off the taste experience and leads to a fresh, fruit-driven finish.

This Sauvignon Blanc is a versatile accompaniment to a variety of dishes. It harmonizes perfectly with creamy mushroom risotto, steamed mussels or squid, grilled eggplants or artichoke salad. It is also ideal as a stylish aperitif. Enjoy it at a drinking temperature of 8-10 degrees.

Neethlingshof Wine Estate

Neethlingshof Cabernet Sauvignon
The Neethlingshof Cabernet Sauvignon grows in Tukulu soils, a type of soil found specifically in South Africa, which consists of old granites that have decomposed. These soils have good water penetration and retention, are fertile, with a high clay content. The color of the Neethlingshof Cabernet Sauvignon is ruby red. The bouquet shows lots of plum, cherry, blackcurrant and a hint of cinnamon. On the palate, the wine is rich and full, with ripe fruit flavors supported by soft tannins. The grape juice was aged for 8 months in second-fill French wooden barrels. This gave the wine a soft woody note. The Neethlingshof Cabernet Sauvignon is a delicious all-rounder that goes well with red and white meat dishes as well as pasta and mild cheese. This dry South African red wine is vegan.
