Esporao Monte Velho Tinto 2023

Rubinrot mit Aromen von roten Beerenfrüchten und wilden blauen Beeren, sowie fein würzigen Noten präsentiert sich der Esporao Monte Velho Tinto. Am Gaumen ist der Rotwein von der sonnenverwöhnten Ebene Alentejo in Portugal sehr intensiv und gut strukturiert mit Aromen von reifen Früchten und weichen Tanninen. Die Cuvée aus den vier Rebsorten Aragonez, Trincadeira, Touriga Nacional und Syrah reift nach der separaten Lese jeder Rebsorte zunächst in Edelstahltanks. Anschließend lagert der Wein über drei Monate in Barriquefässern aus amerikanischer Eiche.

Der Esporão Reserva Branco DOC Alentejo ist ein klassicher Wein von dem Weingut Herdade do Esporão. Die Weinmacher David Baverstock und Sandra Alves verwenden für die Cuvée hauptsächlich die Rebsorten Antão Vaz, Arinto und Roupeiro. Die Trauben stammen von über 18 Jahre alten Weinstöcken. Die Gärung erfolgt mit kontrollierten Temperaturen in Edelstahlbehältern und neuen amerikanischen und französischen Eichenfässern.In der Nase bietet der strohgelbe Weißwein Aromen von Grapefruit und weißem Pfirsich, leichte Röst- und Gewürznoten und merkliche mineralische Töne. Esporao Reserva Tinto DOC Alentejo 2022

Die Trauben für den Esporao Reserva Tinto DOC Alentejo aus dem Weinanbaugebiet Alentejo in Portugal gedeihen auf Böden aus Ton und Lehm mit Granit und Schiefer Mutterfelsen. Die Reben der Cuvée aus Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, Aragonez, Syrah, Trincadeira, Cabernet Sauvignon und Touriga Franca werden getrennt, geerntet und zerkleinert. Danach erfolgt die Gärung, bei der die Temperatur kontrolliert wird. Nach der Zusammenführung reift der trockene Wein noch für 12 Monate in Barriques aus 60% amerikanischer Eiche und 40% französischer Eiche.Der intensiv rubinrote Wein bietet ein komplexes, anhaltendes Bouquet von Pflaumen, Minze und Nuancen von Gewürznelke. Am Gaumen zeigt er sich ausgewogen. Die samtigen Tanninen harmonieren wunderbar mit der Frucht.
