Mount Riley Wines

The fine, lively nose smells delicately of fresh herbs. A cautious minerality, elegant acidity and almond flavor on the finish round off this elegant Pinot Gris from the Palatinate wine region.Enjoy this fresh and light Pinot Gris as an accompaniment to hearty gratin with potatoes and cheese or to butter cake with flaked almonds. The Pfaffmann family, who are the third generation to run the winery, age the Pinot Gris in modern stainless steel vats. There it matures into a clear and fruity white wine that harmonizes wonderfully with fish dishes, grilled white meat and salads. The well-balanced Pinot Gris can also be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif and attracts attention with its unusual bottle design, "All Burgundies are gray at night"...
