“Queen of white wines” – Among the wine-growers in the Kaiserstuhl region, the Pinot blanc grape is known as the “queen of white wines”. In the picturesque low mountain range of volcanic origin, located in the south-west of Baden-Württemberg, wonderful vines thrive on heat-retaining lava soil. The Mediterranean climate does the rest.
The Königschaffhauser Vulkanfelsen Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc) is characterized by its crisp acidity, offering delicate, fruity aromas of pineapple and peach. This is an invigorating white wine, uniting a full body with an elegant freshness.
The Kaiserstuhl region is the warmest and sunniest region in Germany. For centuries, it has been the home of numerous estates that produce excellent wines. The cooperative association of the Königschaffhausen wine-growers was founded in 1933.
