The Delas Frères Les Challeys Saint-Joseph Blanc shimmers green-gold in the glass. The French white wine from the Saint-Joseph appellation, the second largest wine-growing region in the north of the Rhône Valley, is a blend of the typical Rhône grape varieties Marsanne and (around one fifth) Roussanne.

The bouquet of this high-quality creation from the top wine estate La Maison Delas Frères is stimulatingly complex and combines notes of citrus and pickled fruit with floral nuances and hints of crushed stone. Medium to full-bodied on the palate with a beautiful interplay of aromas. Again with noticeable citrus fruit and nuances of honey. The finish has a pleasant acidity, floral tones and aromas of fresh almonds.

Sanfte Tanninstruktur und frische Säure geben ein verspieltes Gefühl. Nach einer Gärung von 10 bis 12 Tagen in französischen und amerikanischen Eichenfässern, liegt der Wein für weitere sechs Monate „sur lie“ (auf der Hefe). Um die natürliche Frische des Weins zu behalten, durchläuft die Hälfte des Weins eine malolaktische Gärung. Das fördert die Entwicklung der frischen, typischen Chardonnay Aromen.Dieser erfrischende und komplexe Chardonnay duftet nach Zitronenkuchen, Banane und Birne, gefolgt von warmen Gerüchen von geröstetem Brot. For a number of years now, the popular movie stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt as well as the Perrin family (Château Beaucastel) have been the people behind the Miraval Rosé Côtes de Provence.  Given these factors of cult and glamour, the question naturally arises as to whether it's merely the name that sells here, or do connoisseurs also expect the result of true winemaking art in their glasses?  International wine gurus have long since answered this question:  The Miraval Rosé Côtes de Provence is a top wine that impresses critics year after year, breaking the magic 90-point barrier over again and again as well.The high-quality rosé from Provence is virtually a synonym for carefree, lighthearted pleasure.  On the nose, it is wonderfully fresh and complex, recalling raspberries, red cherries, currants, strawberries and pink grapefruit, complemented by notes of rose water and fresh herbes de Provence. A hint of lemon rounds off the bouquet.On the palate, the Brangelina rosé, if you will, is fascinatingly lively and elegant, with a lovely full body.
