Delas Freres Les Challeys Saint Joseph Rouge AOC

The powerful Delas Frères Les Challeys Saint Joseph Rouge shimmers purple-red in the glass. This red wine from the Saint-Joseph appellation, the second largest wine-growing region in the north of the Rhône Valley, is a pure Syrah (Shiraz).

The wonderfully multi-faceted bouquet combines intense fruity notes of raspberries, strawberries, blueberries and blackcurrants as well as black olives with nuances of oak, dark chocolate and cocoa beans. On the palate, the French red wine is dry, full-bodied and dense, with great balance and noticeable, well-integrated tannins. The finish has considerable length and also offers connoisseurs a great interplay of aromas with notes of blackberries and mulberries.

Around 30 percent of this red wine from the Rhône region matured in oak barrels. The remainder was matured in stainless steel, allowing the fruit aromas of this Syrah from the top wine estate La Maison Delas Frères to fully develop.

Enjoy the Delas Frères Les Challeys Saint Joseph Rouge at a drinking temperature of 15 to 18 degrees. It goes wonderfully with marinated or grilled beef or a spinach gratin with almonds.

Delas Frères Les Challeys Saint-Joseph Blanc AOC

Delas Frères Les Launes Crozes-Hermitage Rouge AOC
