Der „Y Series Merlot“ ist ein hervorragender Rotwein aus dem Weingut Yalumba, das für seine Spitzenweine aus Australien bekannt ist. Der Merlot ist eine der bekanntesten roten Rebsorten der Welt und erzeugt fruchtige Weine mit sanften Tanninen.

In der Nase präsentiert sich der „Y Series Merlot“ mit einem komplexen Aromenspektrum, das von roten Früchten wie Kirschen, Brombeeren und Himbeeren geprägt ist. Dazu gesellen sich Noten von dunkler Schokolade, Gewürzen und einem Hauch von Eichenholz.

Am Gaumen zeigt sich der „Y Series Merlot“ vollmundig und geschmeidig, mit einer ausgewogenen Struktur von Tanninen und Säure.
