The Parker Estate Chardonnay stands for the uncompromising quality philosophy of Parker Estate, which was founded in 1985.

Careful care in the vineyard and careful processing result in a Chardonnay of remarkable structure and balance. Pale straw in color with light green reflections, this white wine displays an elegant, fragrant bouquet with vibrant notes of white nectarine and peach, underpinned by a subtle hint of toasted brioche. On the palate, stone fruit notes combine with hints of lemon blossom, all embedded in a refreshingly clear, long finish.

Zesty acidity leads to a long zesty finish on the palate with a hint of cashew nut, and faint, fine textured tannin. The cool year is reflected in the balanced, delicate flavors of the McLaren Vale fruit.A small portion of The Olive Grove Chardonnay underwent natural fermentation and batonnage for added complexity and mouthfeel. Maturation took place in a mixture of new and used French and used American barrels and stainless steel tanks. None of d'Arenberg's white wines undergo malolactic fermentation, as the retention of fresh, natural acidity is considered an integral part of the wine's balance and longevity.
