Cantina Tramin Rungg Merlot-Cabernet 2023

The Merlot-Cabernet Sauvignon blend is complemented somewhat by the Cabernet Franc grape variety. The Cabernet Franc gives the red wine its light spiciness. The grapes for Cantina Tramin's Rungg all come from vineyards located to the south of the village of Tramin. The vines grow on hilly terrain at an altitude of around 300 meters. The soils have a gravelly subsoil, the soil above is clayey and calcareous. The terroir gives the wine from Italy a pleasant tannin structure and elegance. The wine is matured in barriques and larger wooden barrels to bring out the aromas.The color of the Rungg is garnet red. The dry wine has an intense aroma of cherry, redcurrant and dried fruit. Wonderfully round on the palate with chocolate aromas and light roasted flavors. The finish is long-lasting and powerful.Thanks to its full-bodied taste, the Cantina Tramin Rungg Merlot-Cabernet from South Tyrol is an excellent accompaniment to game dishes, roasts or well-matured cheese.

Cantina Tramin Stoan Bianco is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Gewürztraminer. The name “stoan” stems from the stony soil that is the origin of this wonderful cuvée. The German word "Stein" (stone) is pronounced "stoan" in this region. The wine has pleasant fruity notes and a refreshing acidity. Unobtrusive used wood highlights the typical nuances of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc. Light aromatic and seductive aromas of Sauvignon Blanc and Gewürztraminer-grapes give this blend elegance and freshness. A many-hued colour with strong pink tinges and fine bubbles.The nose is fresh and direct, with aromas reminiscent of cherries, blackberries, pomegranates and redcurrants.On the palate, the wine shows a deliciously full body that follows on perfectly from the nose. Its flavours remind one of fresh strawberries and raspberries.The finish has a pleasantly acidulous character that adds to the impression of finesse given by this romantic and well-balanced wine.The champagne made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes from the Montagne de Reimsregion, and from Premiers Crus andGrands Crus.Its specific style and colour are the result of blending in 8% of red wine produced from a plot of old vines on the hill of Aÿ, and from a plot known as “Meurtet”. Both are particularly well sited and belong to Deutz. The red wine is made by our cellar-master.After almost three years ageing on its lees, the aromas have softened and harmonised, giving this Brut Rosé a particularly subtle nose, and a very interesting mixture of softness and freshness on the palate.This can be enjoyed as much as an aperitif as with a meal, where it would provide the perfect foil for salmon cooked with mushrooms, beef carpaccio, duck with red berry sauces, roast lamb chops or certain fresh and creamy cheese, such as Chaource or Brillat Savarin.Also available as a 0,75 liter bottle.
