The Tasca d'Almerita Regaleali Bianco DOC from Sicily impressively conveys the advantages of this growing region. The three indigenous grape varieties Inzolia, Grecanico and Catarratto, rounded off with a small proportion of Chardonnay, combine to produce a wonderfully animating aroma of fresh apples, white peaches and pink grapefruit. On the palate, the Tasca d'Almerita Regaleali Bianco is soft, rich and intense. This is a classic among Sicilian white wines, here in its 58th edition. This assemblage was matured in steel tanks for three months. The brilliant straw-yellow white wine (with greenish reflections) is a fabulous accompaniment to light dishes such as salads, Italian pasta, fresh fish or seafood. The fresh and fruity Tasca d'Almerita Regaleali Le Rosé combines notes of strawberries and cherries with light nuances of roses in its bouquet. This rosé, which combines the juiciness of white wines with the fruity elegance of red wines, is crisp and fruity on the palate. This creation from Nerello Mascalese grapes from Sicily was matured for three months in steel tanks. The bright red wine is an ideal accompaniment to pasta dishes, tomato soup or fish dishes.

This Nero d'Avola from Sicily marks the beginning of the winery's success story. More than 60 vintages of the Tasca d'Almerita Regaleali Nero d'Avola have seen its following grow all over the world.The deep ruby red wine has a wonderfully complex aroma of cherries, mulberries and blueberries, paired with hints of vanilla and sage. There is also a wonderfully fruity spiciness. This Italian red wine is smooth on the palate, with a balanced, strong tannin structure and an impressively fruity finish. For six months, 50% of the red wine matured in 60 hl Slavonian oak barrels.Try this red wine from Sicily for its rich tannin structure, especially with red meat or game.

Tasca Regaleali Vigna San Francesco Cabernet Sauvignon

Dieser Cabernet Sauvignon aus Sizilien ist ein Ausnahme-Wein. Robert Parker schrieb einst von einem intensiven Bukett mit rebsortentypischen Noten von „Brombeeren, Rosmarin und getoasteter Würze“. Er sieht in dieser Kreation der sizilianischen Tasca-Familie „das großartige Resultat in einem heißen Jahrgang“.Am Gaumen beeindruckt der Tasca Regaleali Vigna San Francesco Cabernet Sauvignon mit seinem vollen Körper und großer Aromatiefe, die Ausgewogenheit von reifen Fruchtaromen und einer klaren Mineralität ist faszinierend. Das Finale klingt noch außergewöhnlich lange nach. Die Trauben für diesen Cabernet Sauvignon aus Sizilien stammen von einem einzigen Weinberg im oberen Teil der Lage San Francesco in 570 Metern Höhe. Der Rotwein reifte 18 Monate in 225-Liter-Barriques.
