The KWV Roodeberg Red Blend from what is probably South Africa's most famous winery is legendary. Wine lovers from all continents love the red blend, the exact composition of which is the winemaker's secret. On the nose, the red blend impresses with aromas of mixed berries, spicy dried herbs and fruit cake. There are also undertones of fresh strawberries. The fruity red wine is full-bodied and rich with nuances of cedar wood and aniseed, accompanied by a lush tannin structure and a lingering finish. Serve this outstanding red wine matured in French oak with roasted and grilled meat, chicken dishes and cheese. This dry red wine from the Western Cape region is also a pleasure to drink on its own.
