This white port wine is redolent of citrus fruit and nuances of ripe, dried fruit, honey and almonds, offering subtle hints of resin as well. On the palate, the Ramos Pinto Porto White is dry, fresh and very fruity.The golden port wine is a blend consisting of the Arinto, Codega, Rabigato and Viosinhox grape varieties. When we speak of port wines, most people immediately think of the red ports. In recent years, however, the white varieties have been gaining ground. Thanks to a meticulous selection of the most suitable grape varieties, the white ports have reached a striking level of quality and are now enjoying increasing popularity. The Ramos Pinto Porto White consists of Viosinho (responsible for the full body and the deep aromas), Rabigato (freshness and acidity), Arinto (gives the wine its fine minerality and elegance) and Codega (ripe fruit and full body).You’ll want to discover this white port wine with scallops or simply on its own as an aperitif. It is also an ideal accompaniment to soft goat’s cheese and melon.
