The Añares Crianza Rioja DOCa from Bodegas Olarra in the Spanish wine-growing region of Rioja is a blend of predominantly Tempranillo grapes and small proportions of Garnacha, Mazuelo and Graciano grapes. The grapes are selected according to strict criteria. Alcoholic fermentation using selected yeast takes 10 to 18 days. The red wine is then aged for 12 to 14 months in American and French oak and then for at least another four months in the bottle.Fruity aromas and nuances of spices, tobacco and cedar on the nose. The Cerro Anon Crianza from the Bodegas Olarra estate offers typical aromas of a lovely crianza from the Rioja region in Spain. The wine is a brilliant, stimulating cherry-red with ruby-red glints in the glass. On the nose, it offers lovely notes of exotic spices, cinnamon and vanilla. The impressive fruit aromas are initially striking, and later pampering the palate in a supple, well-structured manner. The ripe and soft tannins form a good balance between fruit and spice. The 10% Graciano and 10% Mazuelo give the Cerro Anon Crianza its freshness and structure. Die Farbe des Cerro Anon Gran Reserva ist rubinrot in kräftiger Ausprägung mit leicht orangefarbenen Reflexen am Glasrand. Der Wein duftet wunderbar nach roten Beeren, Gewürzen, Vanille, Pflaume und einer Vielzahl von Röstaromen. Am Gaumen zeigt sich die ganze Energie, die in diesem Wein steckt. Er ist erfrischend und ausgewogen, verführerisch und zugänglich. Die lebendige Säure und die wohl geschliffenen Tannine befinden sich in einer perfekten Balance. Der Genuss endet in einem leicht süßlichen Finale, welches in Länge und Frische seinesgleichen sucht.Der Cerro Anon Gran Reserva ist Bodegas Olarras Flaggschiff. Er besteht aus einer Mischung von 90% Tempranillo, 5% Mazuelo und Graciano und 5% Garnacha, die insgesamt 27 Monate in neuer und gebrauchter Eiche reifte. Danach wurde der Wein auf die Flasche gefüllt und lagerte 45 Monate bevor er in den Handel kam.
