The Anthonij Rupert Protea Rosé is a classic rosé in the Provence style. The grapes were selected by hand and aged in stainless steel tanks. Afterwards, they remained in contact with the yeast for some time in order to develop the aroma to the fullest. The Anthonij Rupert Protea Rosé is a pale pink to red in the glass. This rosé is impressively fruity and offers aromas of raspberries and peach in its bouquet, along with nuances of apple blossoms.

The palate is characterised by a great juiciness and a lovely, fresh acidity, showing noticeable aromas of strawberries, raspberries, other ripe berries and citrus peel. The lightness and liveliness of the Protea Rosé make it a captivating pleasure to drink – and not only in summer. This lovely rosé is an excellent accompaniment to seafood, white fish, braised salmon or soft cheeses.

Notes of citrus fruit and pineapple predominate in the mouthfeel. The long finish is characterised by nuances of gravel and flint. Der Chenin Blanc aus der Protea Serie von Anthonij Rubert zeigt die ganze Klasse der Traube aus südafrikanischem Anbau. Im Glas wunderbar klar und mit einem leichten Funkeln spielt die ansprechende Nase mit Noten von Nektarine, hellem Pfirsich und gereifter Birne. Am Gaumen ist der Wein saftig und frisch mit Noten von Steinfrüchten. Der Protea Chenin Blanc schmeckt nach Wassermelone und lebhaft nach Birne.Der Wein stammt aus den Anbaugebieten Swartland und Voor-Paardeberg und zeigt in der Mitte breite, aber sanfte Hefenoten. The grapes for this wine come from the Groenekloof region located in the wine-growing region of Darling, where the days are warm and the nights are cool, so that there is a significant temperature difference.This, in combination with the dark red soils consisting of decomposed granite, gives the wine its unique mix of dark and red fruit aromas. The wine is wonderfully concentrated and soft, with a juicy tannin structure. The Protea Cabernet Sauvignon is round, soft, light and well-balanced on the palate, offering clearly noticeable, fruity aromas of plums, dark berries and cherries, along with fine notes of spices. The grapes for the Protea Chardonnay from the Anthonij Rupert estate come from different vineyards located in the wine-growing regions of Franschhoek and Robertson. The grapes of individual parcels of land were vinified separately and partly aged in French oak casks in order to give the wine a higher complexity and structure. In the end, all grapes were blended and bottled. On the nose, the Anthonij Rupert Protea Chardonnay offers aromas of blood orange, grapefruit and lemon. On the palate as well, the wine offers lively notes of citrus fruit and noticeable juicy aromas of blood orange and grapefruit. Due to its fresh texture, the wine is wonderfully juicy and fully developed. The Protea Chardonnay is an ideal accompaniment to all kinds of hearty salads. It also goes beautifully with Thai cuisine.
