Print product information sheet

This pale straw yellow Pinot Gris from New Zealand is redolent of floral notes, pears, citrus fruit and spicy aromas. On the palate, this white wine from the Marlborough region is dry, showing a great fruitiness, a sumptuous texture and a balanced acidity as well.

A small part of this wine matured in French oak casks and the rest was aged in stainless steel tanks, giving the Mount Riley Pinot Gris its great freshness and fruitiness and simultaneously a fine complexity.

The grapes come from vineyards located in the Wairau and Awatere Valley. Ideal weather conditions and these outstanding vineyards guarantee a lovely taste experience. Try the Mount Riley Pinot Gris with white meat, veal, Asian cuisine, cheese varieties or dried fruit.

Product recommendation

Hensel Aufwind Grauburgunder
Thomas Hensel is one of 20 wineries in Bad Dürkheim. His 17-hectare vineyard is located next to the local "airport" (airfield). Thomas is 35 years young, ambitious, energetic and courageous enough to be innovative. Classic Burgundy with notes of fresh leaves, hazelnuts and a hint of vanilla. By a subtle use of oak barrels the wine gains in complexity and flavor, without losing its freshness and unique character. On the palate it is dynamic and fresh with very lean structure.
