Die Oliven des Fattoria di Basciano Olio Extra Vergine die Oliva kommen aus eigenem Weingarten von Fattorai di Basciano in der Toskana. Die Oliven werden Anfang Oktober, Beginn November mit der Hand gepfückt und danach kalt gepresst. Verschiedene Olivensorten worunter Frantoio, Moraiolo, Pendolino und Leccino wurden miteinander zu einem erstklassigem Olivenöl vereint.

Durch die nördliche Lage der Region ist das gewonnene Öl beinahe säurefrei.
Farblich zeigt sich das Öl goldgelb mit grünen Reflexen. Es riecht intensiv nach Fruchtnoten und frisch gepflückten Oliven.
Im Geschmack ist das Öl sehr strukturiert und gewinnt im Laufe der Monate an Anmut und Weichheit.
Im Ganzen ein Produkt mit großartigen Eigenschaften und bemerkenswerter Langlebigkeit.

Dieses Olivenöl eignet sich hervorragend zu Salaten und Antipasti. Da das kaltgepresste Öl reich an ungesättigten Fettsäuren, Vitaminen und Aromastoffen ist, sollte es nicht über 175 Grad erhitzt werden. Ab einer Temperatur von 180 Grad werden diese wertvollen Inhaltsstoffe zerstört.
