The Felline Zinfandel Sinfarosa is made of grapes from a Californian clone of Zinfandel. In Apulia, the Primitivo is a closely related variety. The wine is a dark, almost black purple in the glass. On the nose, it offers intense notes of blackberries, pepper and liquorice. The wine was aged for six months in French and American oak casks, giving the Felline Zinfandel Sinfarosa a full body, with soft and multi-layered tannins. The red wine is fresh and juicy on the palate, showing an elegant spice. The remarkable length continues unabated in the finish.

The Felline Zinfandel Sinfarosa from Italy is not only a delight on its own, but also a wonderful, classic accompaniment to hearty meat dishes, spicy stews or tangy cheeses.
