The fact that Tenuta Antonini, a renowned winery in Abruzzo, has decided to call their creation from Montepulciano and Merlot Tenuta Antonini 24 Carati says something about the quality of this Italian red wine.The winery selects only the best and perfectly ripe grapes from its locations in the province of Teramo in meticulous hand-picking. The growing areas in the municipality of Ancarano, between the Adriatic coast in the east and the nearby mountain ranges of Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga in the west, offer ideal climatic conditions and soils, so that grapes of exceptional quality can mature.The Tenuta Antonini 24 Carati has an intense, deep ruby red colour. The red wine from central Italy smells wonderfully complex of plums and cherries, which create a harmonious interplay with notes of tobacco and vanilla. There is also a subtle spice. On the palate, the wine made from Montepulciano grapes is dry, full-bodied and soft.
