Der Wein ist Ausdruck dieses wunderbaren Terroirs und stammt von im Schnitt 38 Jahre alten Reben. Die Assemblage besteht aus 28% Petit Verdot, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc und 42% Merlot. Der Wein wird für 8 Monate im Barrique ausgebaut, davon 30% neues Holz.

Im Weinberg wird äußerst schonend mit dem Wein und dem Ökosystem gearbeitet; der La Caderie Authentique 2018 trägt daher das Zertifizierungslabel "AB" (Agriculture Biologique) für organic viticulture.

Die sehr ausdrucksstarke Nase begeistert mit Aromen von dunklen Früchten und Gewürzen; der Gaumen ist vollmundig und stoffig und es spiegeln sich diese Facetten wider. Der Abgang ist lang und anhaltend.

Ein harmonischer Bordeaux, mit einem tollen Preis- Leistungsverhältnis, der sowohl beim Concours de Bordeaux, als auch bei der Challenge International die Medaille d´Argent gewonnen hat.

Er passt perfekt zu Geflügel, Gegrilltem oder hartgereiftem Käse.

Damien Houx, der Önologe vom Weingut Château Peyrouley, tritt mit diesem Wein den Beweis dafür an, dass ein Wein, der mit dem Label „AB“ ausgezeichnet wurde (agriculture biologique, übersetzt: biologischer Anbau) weder teuer sein muss, noch geschmacklich hinter anderen Weinen aus Bordeaux zurücksteht. Dabei hilft sicherlich auch der ausgezeichnete Jahrgang 2020, der mühelos an die Reihe der perfekten Wetterbedingungen in 2018 und 2019 anknüpfen kann.Dieser Rotwein aus dem Entre-Deux-Mers verdankt viel seinem Terroir, das auf Ton-Kalkstein-Anhöhen aus dem Oligozän liegt. Die Hänge und die Südlage entwässern die Böden perfekt. Da die Trauben so im Sommer genau die Sonne erhalten um eine optimale Reife und Konzentration zu erlangen, ist ein reifer und ausdrucksstarker Rebsaft das Resultat. Der Château Peyrouley besteht aus 75% Merlot und 25% Cabernet Sauvignon und wird nach den traditionellen Methoden des Bordelais vinifiziert.Dabei sorgt der Merlot für eine schöne Ausgewogenheit und Rundheit am Gaumen, mit wunderbaren roten Früchten; der Cabernet Sauvignon bringt genau die Würzigkeit und den Körper, der das Gesamtwerk vervollständigt.Ein toller trockener Wein zu rotem Fleisch, Wild oder Käse. Wir empfehlen, da der Château Peyrouley Bordeaux 2020 noch recht jung ist, diesen vor dem Genuss mindestens eine halbe Stunde zu dekantieren.

Dieser Rotwein aus der AOC Francs-Côtes de Bordeaux ist eine Assemblage aus 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc und 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Die Rebstöcke, auf bestem Kalk-Sandstein Terroir gelegen, sind im Schnitt 30 Jahre alt. Michel und Rina Guillon sind die Besitzer dieses uralten Familienbetriebs, der 10 ha Rebgarten umfasst und seit vier Generationen von Vater zu Sohn weitergegeben wird.Dem Wein merkt man die Hingabe seiner Schöpfer an. Im Glas begrüßt uns ein tiefes und funkelndes Dunkelrot. Der Guillon-Nardou zeigt eine reiche Palette von dunklen Beeren, Johannisbeeren und Brombeeren, etwas Cassis und Tabak. Am Gaumen sehr rund und voluminös, mit schöner Struktur und sehr geschliffenen Tanninen. Der Nachhall ist wunderbar lang.Ein toller „Every-day“-Bordeaux, mit einem sagenhaften Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Er ist jetzt nach etwa einer Stunde Dekantieren trinkreif, ist aber mindestens noch bis 2025 in seinem Zenit.Zu Wild, Pasta, gereiftem Käse oder mit Freunden eine echte Empfehlung!

The 2016 vintage produced premium wines in nearly the entire Bordelais region. The 2016 Greteau Médeville is impressive proof of this as well.Since 1826 and in the meantime through seven generations, members of the Médeville family have been producing wines in the Bordeaux region. The Médeville family owns an additional six estates which they operate with an organic approach, protecting the environment to the greatest extent possible, with minimal use of chemicals in its vineyards. The Gréteau Médeville estate is one of its showpieces, covering an area of only 22.24 acres.A restrained use of wood underlines the fruity and well-balanced character of this wonderful, seductive wine.The Château Greteau Médeville Bordeaux Supérieur AOP 2016 is a light, clear garnet red in colour. On the nose, it offers intense aromas of cherries, black currants and spices. It is very velvety on the palate, showing lots of fruit, notes of amarena cherries and a full body. The finish is long and fruity. The fine and already well-integrated tannins underpin the wine’s structure. We recommend decanting the wine a while before drinking it. It can already be enjoyed now but will further improve over at least five more years.This Bordeaux is a wonderful everyday wine and lovely to enjoy on its own. It is also a good accompaniment to grilled dishes, meat pies, game, duck, quails or ripe cheeses. You won’t find a better bargain for Bordeaux!

The Alceño Romeo Organic Monastrell is an organic wine from the Jumilla region in Spain. The Monastrell vines grow on barren stony soils with a high lime content, giving the wine its powerful aromas. The wine is an intense cherry red with purple glints in the glass. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe red fruit, roasted spices and notes of smoke. The Romeo Organic Monastrell is extremely full-bodied and powerful on the palate.Due to the ageing in French and American oak casks, the tannins are always noticeable but wonderfully soft and elegant. The dry red wine is juicy and mature, showing a light sweetness. Hints of cinnamon support the structure all the way into the prolonged finish. Such a good wine for so little money is rare, indeed!Try this Spanish wine from Bodegas Alceño with aubergines stuffed with sheep’s milk cheese and balsamic vinegar, accompanied by tomato ragout. Chilled to 14-15 °C (57.2-59 °F), it also goes beautifully with well-seasoned grilled meat.The 2019 Alceño Romeo Organic Monastrell was awarded the ‘Grand Gold’ at the Mundus Vini Spring Tasting in 2021.
