Barramundi steht für Leichtigkeit. Dieses Lebensgefühl vermittelt das australische Weingut Qualia Wines durch seine Weine. Die Trauben des reinsortigen Barramundi Sauvignon Blanc wachsen in Victoria, einer Weinregion im Südosten des Kontinents. Die Ernte findet nachts statt und die Beeren werden bei niedriger Temperatur (13-14°C) fermentiert. Hierdurch wird eine gewisse Frische erhalten. Im Anschluss der Gärung reift der Weißwein auf der Hefe, was den Sauvignon Blanc weicher macht und zusätzliche Komplexität verleiht.

Im Glas zeigt sich der herrlich frische Wein in einem zitronengelb mit grünem Schimmer. In der Nase finden sich Gerüche von Apfel, Limette und tropischen Früchten. Der Geschmack ist angenehm fruchtig und erfrischend mit lebendiger Säure. Noten von Blüten und frisch geschnittenem Gras umschmeicheln den Gaumen.
